Today's tip is about a simple utility which allows you to print color PDFs... The application is called PDFCreator and is available for free... Any Windows program that provides print functionality can use PDFCreator to generate a PDF file, and you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on Adobe Acrobat...

Download it, install it, and you'll be ready to start cranking out high quality PDF files...

PDFCreator basically creates a new printer on your machine... From the application that you'd like to generate a PDF from, simply print the document and select PDFCreator as the printer you'd like to print to:


You will have the option to add Title, Date, and Author information to your PDF file...

And finally, you will be asked for the location and filename where you would like to save your PDF file to..

Pretty simple, and very helpful when you need to generate PDFs for distribution or archiving...
